Preserve Your Land

Preserve the beauty of your land forever through a Conservation Easement

Yolo Land Trust works with landowners interested in protecting their land from development. To accomplish this, Yolo Land Trust can either purchase the property outright or buy only the development rights. Donations of properties and easements are also welcome for consideration. Typically, though, Yolo Land Trust will purchase the development rights by entering into a conservation agreement with the landowner.

These conservation agreements are also called conservation easements, which restrict the uses of a property as needed to protect the land’s conservation values.

You are the owner and steward of your land and you want to preserve your land for future generations.
